Being gay and religious literally makes zero sense to me, like, how can you justify a whole religion that goes against who you are???

Because I actually read the Bible and go to a church full of people who also actually read the Bible and know that being homophobic in the name of God is insane 😭

Not all religions are anti lgbtq, and not all Christian churches are dumb enough to teach the lie that being gay is a sin and God will refuse you from his kingdom (that’s the literal ultimate sin!). While religious trauma is 100% real and incredibly rampant, some of us were so lucky to be able to grow up in accepting churches.

I’m a Christian and Pan but I really just try to follow my heart and I read the bible and discern it for myself. That’s what preachers and pastor preach is their own interpretation of whatever scripture the sermon is for the day. I really don’t believe I’ll be damned to hell for loving God’s best creation which us as humans, whether I’m in love with a man or woman

I honestly don’t get concept. How can being who you are be a sin trust the Bible needs to be updated because everyone “sins”. Lying is considered a sin. So is cheating and half the shit people do as long as you’re happy and a good person that’s all that matters and no one can tell me otherwise!

My church also doesn’t believe in Hell (yet again, because we actually read the Bible). It’s so freeing 🤩
