I’m going to college soon and I kind of want to explore my gender fluidity while I’m there but I’ve been an exclusively masc presenting person up until this point and I’m nervous on how I’d look in dresses (which is part of what I want to wear more often)
I recommend wearing dresses around the house first to get yourself more acclimated to them! it'll let you adjust to how you look and give you practice on sitting in them and also if you need to adjust the straps or anything

As someone who didn’t experience with clothing changes until college as well, I think you’ll find it comforting that 95% of the people in college don’t give a fuck what you’re wearing. You do you and feel good about it

Do you want to take HRT? I highly recommend feminizing HRT (estrogen and an anti androgen, or monotherapy) at this point in your life as it only gets more painful the older you are.

But I’m not trying to pressure! I just have a lot of regret of not starting early and tbh I had thoughts like you but I suppressed them

I’m actually afab! I just never really got to express femininity growing up (long story) so it’s kind of hard for me to now

omg actually the same thing for me! I never learned how to do makeup, wear a dress, or even really basic hair stuff until my freshman year of college
it's def intimidating at first but give yourself time and it'll start coming to you a lot easier
