Clubs in the US are only 21+ so they can check id’s at the door and it be easier to allow just legal drinkers in the drinking establishment. This club is in Australia, where the drinking age is 18. So, same deal as 21+ bars here, it’s 18+, and they’re just being weird with the 35 cap (want a specific demographic, like assholes)

I'm with you, just because 18 is legal doesn't mean it's automatically okay. Governments choose 18 on purpose. Because they love themselves some teenagers 🤢

I think its legal because its not that weird for, say, a 20 y/o, to be with an 18 y/o. It is weird, however, for an 18 y/o to be with a 16 y/o.

Rapid development really happens until you're 23/24 and your brain doesn't fully develop until 25/26 and that includes rationalization and risk reduction. I think a 22 or older should not be with an 18yo, MUCH LESS ANYONE OLDER.
