It’s not a hot take to say trans people understand the ins and outs and complexities of gender more than cisgender people do, it’s the truth. Cisgender people don’t have the first fucking clue about gender because they never question it.

Right? Like im thinking about all the butches who id as cis that i know. Many of them are on t... many of them have questioned their gender but have come to the conclusion that woman is what is right for them. I think its so weird to strip cis ppl of their cisness if they are gnc

right!! i think we all forget that just like queerness, there’s no general cis experience. while there are absolutely some cis people who will go through life never questioning their gender, most aren’t afforded that luxury. gnc cis people exist, racist gender stereotypes exist, cultural gender roles exist, so on and so fourth. we all examine and question it to a certain degree really

don’t be like that dawg, this entire discussion is nowhere near comparable to not all men arguments. the op made an absolute statement that’s wrong and erases the struggles of so many people. understanding and questioning the complexities of gender really has nothing to do with being cis or trans, it’s a human experience shared by most people
