literally this shit is so creepy to me, like they’re just trying to dress their kids up as adult performers so they can parade them in front of a bunch of adult strangers for what, maybe some money…i get the cute dresses and hair, i get having little talent shows or whatever, but the fake nails, tan, fake eyelashes, hair extensions/bleaching, heavy makeup and heels are CRAZY to be putting on a 6 year old

You'd be surprised. And part of the point here (I think) is that those people who oppose trans kids existing but not shows like these are extremely hypocritical. They should be equally, if not even MORE, against the parents/kids that do shows like Toddlers with Tiaras. And they generally are not.

you’d be pretty surprised. child pageantry is mostly popular in red states(GA, FL, AL, etc), so yes, this is primarily a conservative activity. these people act weird as fuck if there is a boy in the pageant, and god forbid their girls don’t look “girly” enough. they’re obsessed over making their literal babies look appealing to adults for money
