indifferent abt marriage, if i do find a life partner i might want to get married at some point for logistical reasons and also just to formally commit to each other yk. but i wouldn’t want to have a fancy wedding event. and leaning towards no kids

Yeah, but I want to adopt. Firstly because babies sound like a nightmare, secondly because I think it’s weird that people are obsessed with passing down their genes (it’s giving eugenics), thirdly because I have family medical issues that I don’t particularly want to pass down, fourthly because it eliminates any risk of pregnancy/related medical problems,

Gay trans man, I want to get married so bad and live in my dream house with my dream partner(s) (one or more, I’m ambiamorous). I do not want kids however because there’s a lot of things that piss me off and I know I’d end up being not the best parent, also I want to live my life my way

r/gaydads is very much focused on gay men who already have kids, but it’s a great community to connect with and see that there are gay couples who do want children. ime gay couples tend to have children much later in life (mainly due to cost and logistics barriers, but for some later in life re-evaluation) so your responses may be skewed a little bit by this mostly being a college crowd
