please wear a mask in public indoor spaces most people aren’t keeping up on booster shots, which means their vaccination has practically worn off. chronic illness is very common in our community, we need to be looking out for each other

vaccines are $200, paxlovid is $500, hospitalization is thousands of dollars, missing work for the acute stage of illness is bad enough and missing work from long covid is even hardsr... masks are up to $2 if you don't buy in bulk. Easy choice. Hit up a mask bloc if you need help! maskbloc.org

(which is not to say I'm against vaccination, it's just significantly less accessible than masking. i just got up to date on my covid vaccine last week and can't afford my flu shot yet but masks prevent the spread of that too)
