If their first pic is a group pic, they are the one you aren’t hoping for in the pic. If they don’t have a pic with a group, that’s a red flag cause they don’t have friends. Gotta have the strategically placed friend pic towards the end of the profile.

god forbid someone be extremely socially isolated and not have friends

you could also just not take pictures with your friends idk 😭 the second one seems like a massive assumption when I rarely see group pics on dating sites

Nah I’m not antisocial, just vain. Only solo candids, portraits, and selfies for me, and it worked out so 🤷‍♀️ I do agree with the first point though; when I was on the apps, I never swiped right on someone with a group pic as their first one.

Just cause it’s a red flag for me, doesn’t mean it has to be for everyone. I’d prefer someone I’m going to be dating to have a full social life with friends outside of me. But also it’s true some people don’t have the luxury of friends!

Well yes, both are assumptions. Both are making broad strokes claims. That’s why every account I see, I look it over completely before making a judgement. These are just trends that I’ve noticed. My experience is not the experience of everyone though.

tbf that is still an assumption based on very limited information, but I respect that you’re not exclusively judging from the lack of a group picture and that you’re making an effort with what you have
