Cancel culture is sooooo annoying. Be so fr everybody and their mom has done something once in their life that would get them subjected to something like this... difference is you're not on a public stage
if you’re not asian you have no say in this matter so leave it be

A slur is a slur. I don't have to be on the offended team to know that. But context is important and cancel culture is ridiculous because it's never in the pursuit of letting people learn and grow.

If you use a racial slur against ppl I’m sorry but I don’t hold sympathy for you

Anonymous#211w
Yeah so I definitely don't hold racial slurs against people. Neither did Cierra. She said a slur, yes, but it's very well possible she didn't know that it was one given the context of how she said it.

AnonymousOP11w
That excuses the behavior. And just continues to show racism towards Asians isn’t treated the same as racism towards other races

Anonymous#211w
IT'S AN EXPLANATION, NOT AN EXCUSE. I seriously don't understand why you all are so quick to assume the worst of everybody. Doesn't benefit anything or anybody. Makes cancel culture fucking ridiculous

Bc if they can kick Yulissa for a slur that she didn’t even use in the villa why can’t they kick Cierra for using one IN the villa. Just bc “ppl didn’t know what it meant”…but ppl know the n word

Anonymous#211w
Girl what? Cierra never said a slur in the villa
-1
AnonymousOP11w
She said it close enough. Yulissa never said it it was found in a podcast. And if ppl were excusing it now they excuse it all the time with Cierra so she likely has used that word out of the villa before and ppl didnt recognize it
1
Anonymous#311w
That's so subjective
-3
Anonymous#211w
What? Lmfao clearly you don't know what we're talking about. Cierra was found to have said a slur in an Instagram story years ago. Nothing happened in the villa
1
AnonymousOP11w
So it’s an excuse bc it’s not the n word? Or what. She deserves to be held accountable and if ppl don’t want to support her after this I can see why. Bc I’m sure a lot of ppl no longer support Yulissa
1
Anonymous#211w
And she said “that man is a Chong”. She knew what she wanted to say but couldn’t 😭
1
Anonymous#211w
Yeah so that didn't happen... not sure what your reading or watching
-1
Anonymous#211w
Okay are you like 16? When did I say it was okay bc it wasn't the n word? Are you good?
-1
AnonymousOP11w
You’re still excusing her behavior so are you good?
3
Anonymous#211w
“She didn’t know the context”. Not an excuse. And I watched the show. We all know what she said
3
Anonymous#211w
You obviously didn't because you just created something that never happened lmfao. And I'm not providing an excuse, I'm providing an explanation. Accountability matters but it means nothing if nobody is ever willing to let people learn and grow
-2
AnonymousOP11w
There isn’t an explanation that’s needed. She said a slur. It doesn’t matter if she didn’t know the concept that’s blindsided ignorance. She can be held accountable but it was still a conscious decision to use that word. Stop trying to bypass racism against Asians
