I’m just now watching the milk episode, am I the only one that thinks it’s kind of crazy in this economy to be wasting something that’s a necessary food item for a lot of people? It’s near four dollars a gallon now 😐

I feel like they should be though, because that milk could’ve been bought and used by someone who needed it or even donated? Or they could’ve used fake milk. It’s just really crazy to watch people throw it away when it’s something the other families can’t even afford :(

I think to those people it’s serious 🤷🏼‍♀️ , I did look it up but I didn’t see anything saying it was fake and it looks real, I hope it is tbh 😭

if you can’t afford basic necessities (not saying this to be negative because i genuinely do feel bad for people right now) you probably can’t afford to watch love island so idk

Well a peacock subscription can be shared Ik I use my friends also there are spots to watch online for free. And it’s kind of horrible to know that there are people who need milk in their fridge and there’s a TV show just throwing it all over people. Like that was a lot of it wasted

Wasting food though is different because it’s something that people need and milk is kind of up there with eggs now. I think it would be fine if it was a few years ago

we are currently in a time of economic hardship so yes, there are people that can’t buy milk because it’s expensive right now. So it is insensitive and bullshit for it to be wasted like this.

I would also really appreciated that if you’re gonna keep replying to my comments, if you would please change your tone because I am being nice and friendly, and your replies are kind of bitchy.

Where I live milk is like four dollars but minimum wage is $7.25 and that’s what I get paid per hour, so a gallon of milk is half of an hourly wage.

So I might not be expensive to you, but it is expensive to a lot of people who are not placed in the same situation that you are

that’s fine, i think the amount of milk they purchased was probably sponsored anyways so not that serious. what’s the difference if milk sits at the store and goes bad? it’s not as though milk is a rarity right now

milk gets more expensive when there’s a drop in the supply of it that causes the demand to increase and also the price. So milk is expensive because we don’t have as much of it as we usually would in addition to the economy being straight dookie. And we are currently in a milk shortage, the whole dairy industry is in a shortage at the moment
