I think a huge aspect of KC’s insecurity in his couple with Aniya is because *he* needs to be the provider in his own mind and BECAUSE Aniya comes from an affluent background… he doesn’t seem himself in the “provider” roll Because to HIM… Aniya already has everything.

And this contributed to why he was so eager to be “bros” with Corbin. When Corbin was introduced as a bombshell, it was pretty clear that most of the girls were attracted to him, if not all. So KC was saying all this nasty shit about the girls to Corbin so he could “prove” to Corbin that they are both “on the same level” bc he was insecure that Corbin was receiving all of this positive attention at the start where KC wasn’t chosen.
