as poc myself, it really disappointed me to see how many black folks were forgiving her

I think because of the d*ath threats and stuff is why they’re forgiving her. I realized after people started saying that all these negative things were happening to her it was overshadowing what she had said and I knew eventually people would look at her as a victim in the situation and that’s exactly what happened. Not saying the d*ath threats should’ve been ignored but it definitely was used to her advantage because now she has sympathizers.

It is really possibly for her to just have thought that that was a word for that eye shape that she had heard people say without knowing that it had any racial connotation. The word itself doesn’t sound clearly racial if you don’t already know of the association. I believe her apology 🤷‍♀️

she lives in Cali which happens to have the LARGEST asian population in the states. bffr you just don’t care.
