I love them. I think Huda is so real to me like the way she conveys her emotions

and chris is the healthy man allowing and showing huda how to heal. yes huda is so relatable if you’ve been through an unhealthy relationship, but haven’t most of us been through that?

I think she needs more than a man to genuinely heal

sometimes all you need is a man physically showing you that he loves you. if chris can do that for huda, and continues to show he loves and cares for her, huda will heal. therapy doesn’t work for everyone especially if the real world relationships are continuously not working out. there is only so much you can fix in your own head by yourself

I think it’s a combination of both. therapy would likely help and also would take some of the weight off of chris as well, but I definitely agree it’s so important to show a person like huda that she can be loved and that someone can have patience with her, and chris has the potential to be that

that’s putting the burden and responsibility of her healing on him which it shouldn’t be

yes i agree with this! i just hate how people say she needs therapy before getting into any relationship. cause imo real life relationships (family, friends, lovers) will heal someone much more efficient than just therapy. therapy is a great tool, but you have to build something in order to use a tool

if he feels like she’s too much a burden, then she isn’t for him. real love is there for the highest highs and the lowest lows

and no therapy is often times extremely necessary bc your friends family and loved ones do not deserve to have to take on the role of therapist for you to heal
