also as a black person, i don’t get the anti-blackness. i do think there are some people who probably *are* racist, but as a collective i don’t see how it’s anti black if olandria or coco or even lighter skinned people like clarke and amaya haven’t gotten nearly the same level of hate

Dislike some of her choice, fine. No one is perfect, all the islanders have made mistakes. But the magnitude of hatred that Olandria and Chelly especially are getting for having a few bad days to the point where brands and influencers are inciting violence against Chelly and acting biased against Chellace all for social media clout is ABHORENT. Nothing they did warrents the magnitude of hatred theyre getting and its very telling when seen in comparison to other islanders who have been granted

The real enemy in all of this is people living in social media bubbles only seeing posts that back their point and not the full picture. Chelley was acting weird with the love Triangles and expecting to be chased by multiple people . Olandria was a little delulu over Taylor. Huda has not developed past whatever age she had her kid. I can call all that out and it has nothing to do with race, I can also make jokes about a show I watch when the people do these things

Has any brand said they would give Huda a knuckle sandwich? That is not a joke AT ALL considering the dv epidemic bw face. Thats not a joke to make to ANY woman. Have influencers come online and pretended a punching bag was Huda like they did with Chelly and Olandria? Have brands said they would specifically exclude sending pr to Huda? And do you think I liked everything chelly and olandria have done or didnt think they were delulu at times? Obviously no. But the fact that a few small mistakes is enough for people to become nasty and violent against them just shows how ppl really feel about black women. Its very disheartening but sadly not an unfamiliar experience for us, just reminds me to be very careful of who i keep in my circle

Austin, tj, charlie, even elan and chris. And ofc ppl have been nasty to all of them, you can find anything on social media. But the point like ive reiterated is the magnitude. Stans and random internet ppl are one thing but when it comes to corporations and influencers joining a smear campaign, thats when it goes overboard and genuinely dangerous. They should either stay impartial or positive, inciting violence is genuinely so fucking crazy

I don’t think inciting violence is the right phrase for this but I agree they need to stay out of it period. The NFL teams posting about Nicolandria was sick work and made me feel bad for Cierra (she was wrong but the whole situation is gross to me)

It’s a poor taste joke but they are not inciting violence. Inciting violence would be telling people to beat up Chelley and Olandria. Saying they need a knuckle sandwich is like saying they need to be knocked upside the head… and sometimes I think everyone on that island needs the sense smacked into them

Knuckle sandwich doesnt just imply knock upside the head…Even if it did, is that not violence as well??? What did she do to warrant that? And why didnt the others receive that comment? Youre trying to justify it but there literally no justification for that type of language and insinuation. Anyone defending these brands is seriously demented and I hope Chelly, Ace, and Olandria pursue legal action against them for furthering the harassment theyre receiving. Thats all I have to say
