he only tried to leave once at the same time as trinity and it was day 1 bc they were both a little freaked out by the age difference, but then started forming a connection. idk why everyone thinks he doesn’t like her bc even that second time exploring w kayda he emphasized that kayda is his SECOND choice and that he was only doing it bc he wanted to have more than one option

it’s not that bryce doesn’t like trinity. it’s that he thought it was a good idea to pursue kayda (her best friend) and risk damaging their couple multiple times in the clearly unlikely event that kayda would like him back. he got rejected twice and embarrassed himself and trinity. actions speak louder than words. bryce says all the right things but you can’t always take that at face value, he’s actively pursued kayda while telling trinity he’s happy with her.
