He definitely could’ve been honest with her way earlier on I agree. But her crashing out cause she did all this stuff for him and reassured him constantly wasn’t his fault. He never asked for that. It’s a hard lesson for women to learn, but if you have to question if a man likes you then he probably dosent. Going above and beyond won’t change that.

I also blame Olandria’s so called “friends” for feeding into her delusions and not being straight up with her. They were still giving her hope even after he chose Clarke.

especially when Clarke RESPECTFULLY addressed how condescending calling her a “test” felt…like she really has been moving as respectfully as possible and she’s in now way responsible for Taylor’s actions

although ola handled it pretty maturely, the entire og villa (and us viewers) have repeatedly disregarded the validity of Clarke and Taylor’s connection and isolated her so I think she had every reason to bring it up and express how condescending it felt to be called a test as she was given the opportunity to speak her mind🤷‍♀️
