I agree there would still be some discourse but she definitely dragged it out with the whole Netflix thing because that prompted more questions from them and gave people something to make fun of. And then to have Louis come out and make that video didn’t help her case.

Tbh she made it seem like it was a contract for her but it was really for Louis but I still think she thought ppl wouldn’t have took it like that

Maybe but it’s a natural thing for people to question things when given a vague answer. First she’s like I can’t talk about it so that makes you curious because how can’t you talk about something we’ve all seen photos and videos of? Then you’re like Netflix and now I’m even more curious because wtf does Netflix have to do with this? I just think her answer choice leads to more questions than was needed and if she kept it simple then it may have led to less questions and them moving on quicker.

Because if she said she doesn’t feel comfortable talking about it and they kept pressing then they would be put in a bad light and they wouldn’t want that. I think people would still say something and there would be a bit of discourse on how she’s showing off their relationship but doesn’t feel comfortable talking about it, but I think that wouldn’t last as long as this whole Netflix thing
