Be real, do you think Cierra had to say she didn’t know what the word meant in order for people to accept her apology? Because like obviously she did know and she just didn’t think it was a full on slur, but would that not be a good enough apology?
This is the main thing that bothered me about her apology and many influencer apologies. The notion that they had no idea the word was a slur isn’t convincing me

yeah this is how i viewed it. maybe from a pr standpoint she didn’t want to admit to anything and look worse. she can try to take accountability all she wants but she needs to own her intentions. it felt purposefully vague and disingenuous to me.

nah i don’t believe that for a SECOND. your entire career is social media and you are in your early twenties, there’s no possible way you don’t know what that word means.
