You can actually understand a persons actions and sympathize with their feelings while also being nothing like them. A great example of this would be Chris. One can actually find this post to be very similar to Huda’s behavior in the beginning. You’re making these claims about a general group of people you don’t know based on who they like on a show.

Fair point. Sympathizes with her feelings*- he shows compassion and understanding for how she feels. But my point was that he himself doesn’t have the same characteristics so it can also be true for viewers that defend her.
