if nic truly believed olandria was the most beautiful person he’s ever seen why wouldn’t he go for her in the beginning? i don’t believe “out of respect for taylor and belle-a” is an appropriate answer cuz it was literally like the first days on the island he could’ve had a damn chat with her to test the waters and it wouldn’t be an issue. i feel like nic kissed her in challenges and stuff to purposely open a bridge of “if i lost my connection, i could stay in the villa by exploring this” cuz he

saw her as an option. also, olandria (in the beginning) was strong, independent, radiant, standing on business, easy to assume she’d stay in the villa for a long time and easy to assume she’d be americas favorite. i feel like he strategically chose her in challenges and stuff so that there would be a way for him to stay in if he was vulnerable. he explored olandria to stay in the villa when given the chance, cierra could’ve came back from casa allll over elan putting nic in a dangerous position,

so he hyped dafuq outta olandria in that time to put himself in a safer position. hes clearly playing the game strategically and that’s evident in the fact that the minute he found out cierra didn’t fw elan he immediately locked in with her to secure his spot in the villa. like nic has free will if he wanted to be w olandria he would put effort into that but he only ever explored that when he was in a vulnerable position.

being said^ i respect that olandria (although delulu) didn’t reciprocate this approach with nic and proceeded to follow her heart with taylor even if it would make her vulnerable. to me it just showed she’s not there just to win and not there to play games.
