Hot Take: I think that Kenzie did experience sexism from the audience, but when it comes to the villa, this framing that she got harsher treatment from the girls than sincere is kind of confusing me. None of the girls yelled at Kenzie or cussed her out.

It’s both. The girls saying Kenzie was never truly a friend to them and that they wouldn’t be friends with Kenzie outside of the villa meanwhile they’re scuba-ing and being “team sincere” over one apology while she had to apologize several times was very sexist and male centered of them to do

I think Kenzie takes all criticism to the max. I think in her mind if she gets criticized by someone they hate her and only think negatively about her. I used to think the same way so I get it.

The girls typically just said that they didn’t think her leading people on was ok. Kayda was the only one to make this sincere comparison from what I remember, but most of them just had a response of “oh Kenzie, that’s not okay…” it seems like Kenzie struggles with being held accountable, which is the most the girls did. I don’t think she did anything on the level of sincere or KC and don’t think she’s some villain for exploring!

Unless she’s referring to things that we did not see or comments we did not hear, I don’t really think they were being sexist.

I think it was pretty clear. She was talking about the audience when she was saying sexism.

They were belittling her and acting like she was giving half assed apologies meanwhile Sincere can give the biggest half assed excuse in the book and suddenly he’s forgiven. They weren’t fair to Kenzie for the sole reason that she explored

I don’t agree with this. because you expect your girlfriends to be there for you and don’t be two faced. because the girls had this sisterhood where they support and love each other, when they see kenzie acting this way, going behind people’s backs especially with the jen situation, it’s going to hurt a lot more than a man being a liar because that’s what men do. maybe it’s unfair to hold her to a higher standard but I do think that it’s valid. And they still continued to be friends with her

and never cussed her out or yelled or anything

I also don’t agree with the girls being team sincere at all by the way, I just look at the kenzie situation and the sincere situation through separate lenses because they aren’t the same

That’s not valid that’s like the Parmida thing “guys will think with their dicks” like what makes that okay? None of those women took Kenzie’s apology as seriously as Sincere. In fact they continued to defend Sincere after one cute breakfast. Sincere didn’t do anything nice for Melanie after that. Kenzie owned up to it with the guys she hurt and the guys forgave her and simply let it go. It never even affected the girls at all

You don’t have to cuss someone out to be sexist

ok to be honest I haven’t watched all the episodes, but from what I’ve seen, kenzie didn’t continue to get any negative treatment from the girls after she apologized? right or am I missing something. because if they were still friends with her after the fact then whats the issue

None of them even talked to Kenzie so for them to be like Kenzie isn’t acting like a friend when none of them would ever mention or speak to her in the first place is weird. The only times the girls ever came to Kenzie majority of the show was when Kenzie fucked up with her own connection. Even Parmida still holds that grudge against Kenzie. They’re holding Kenzie above the men when their issue is with the men specifically not her

Idk why you’d forgive Corbin but not Kenzie, or you’d forgive Sincere but not Kenzie saying her intentions was to never hurt them even Sincere is outwardly hurting you every episode
