I don’t think he’s acting kindly towards her but he’s been clocked out of the relationship for days now and that’s why he’s acting that way. And it’s all due to the way that she initially acted towards him and treated him. As someone who has been in an abusive relationship, I see signs of my ex in every way that she treats him and I see him shutting down in the same way that I, and countless other people, have. He is drained and likely feels like he can’t do anything without her lashing out
