In my mind, it’s an “older” mindset. Like this is how a relationship should go. You date, have a convo about focusing on each other, and later on it becomes official. Like I feel like that being the process has been covered by hookup culture and people who date to date 😬

yup exactly!! modern dating culture ruins this so bad, because people have lost the plot of actually taking time to be together
