because cierra got picked by someone she wanted and someone who wanted her in casa, she was secure. clarke almost immediately left to pursue taylor, and the whole point of all of this is attraction so ofc if his couple isn’t working he’s going to pursue someone he’s attracted to…

if you don’t see the difference between how nic and cierra went about it i really don’t know what to tell you. for that matter, even the difference between nic and ace, whose og couple also didn’t work out. the way he pursued coco was much different and much more respectful to chelley.
