he started to walk across the rocks with no shoes, but stopped and was given shoes so he could carry huda. we assume the rocks were slimy/slippery. he then walks back alone after the date with no shoes, leaving the shoes by the table. someone from production must have gotten the shoes for him because when he walks back over to talk to her, he’s wearing the shoes huda probably saw someone grab his shoes, saw him come back wearing them (the thing he only needs when carrying someone) and

assumed he was gonna carry her. but he said no. which is weird, cause why’d he put the shoes on to come back just to tell her to hurry up. i think he was hoping the crying meant she felt bad and could change her mind. so he showed up, asked her why she’s crying, thinking she would have changed her mind and when she didnt, he was pissed and wanted to make her walk on the slimey rocks alone w her shoes in hand
