I disagree kinda. I don’t think people disliked them because they are black, but I definitely think people let their racism show when they were talking about how much they dislike them. Maybe not here as much (but even still somewhat here) but on Twitter and TikTok especially, yeah it was bad

^^ this!! I don’t like KC and titi because of how they acted but wayyy too many people felt comfortable letting racist stereotypes influence their slander towards them. like it’s really hard to ignore the macro aggressions against them when people are literally making titi look extremely masculinized next to KC during the confrontation when it was not necessary at all

I feel like it’s so hard to explain to people, this show has a typically younger more woke audience and the idea of subconsciously giving yourself permission to be racist or meaner than normal because you don’t like the person is a very simple concept
