I think a big part of it has to be her friends having been telling her that he is a great guy. Like she bought into that narrative and she is probably experiencing so much cognitive dissonance about it

And also people voting them as one of the most compatible couples. She was starting to doubt it then people voted for them and she said “oh they must be seeing something I’m not maybe we are compatible” or something like that.
