I mean u can (somehow) have empathy for Kenny if what happened isn’t as bad as we’re expecting it to be but taking sides isn’t just finding reason/making sense of the “other side”, it implies that ur picking one over the other

Yes, and that is true however, I have seen situations where a guy and a girl break up and everybody just decides to take the girls side like I will admit that I have unfollowed and talked shit about a guy in support of my girl, even though he didn’t do anything that bad

I don’t care who is gonna dog on me when I say this, but I do have empathy for Kenny. I mean it has to suck being such a public figure and having your whole life out there and now you have just a bunch of people sending hate your way and you’re being like publicly shamed and shit on. it sucks for your mental health

Well I think it’s only human to empathize with others, and not want things to go too far- but that’s also not the same as picking a side or implying that their actions were okay.
