at some point… we have to blame Olandria too… she had an opportunity with Jalen she chose Taylor, she barely even gave Nic anything .. most of their conversations Nic had to redirect back to their own coupling bc she was worried about Taylor.

Last night wasn’t the producers, it was Taylor. Looking back, the producers gave her Jalen which she didn’t take, gave her the most love in the lumber jack challenge, saved her from elimination, and paired her with nic. They know she’s a fan favorite so they’re giving her a very sympathetic edit

She has said multiple times that she’s a slow burner. How would 48 hours including sleep, food and getting ready allow her a chance to connect with Jalen enough to leave a connection she’s been growing for 2 weeks ?

They gave her less than 48 hours with Jalen when we all knew, cause she said it SO MANY times, that she’s a slow burner and seeks mental over physical. Not to mention most of that 48 hours was Hudas crash out, except for their date. HOW was she supposed to get to know Jalen more than she did Taylor, who she’s been coupled up with for 2 weeks with at that point,

48 hours is a reasonable amount of time to explore a connection for love island standards. Look at how quick she got physical with nic in less than that. Sure their connection didn’t work, but it’s not like production is out to get her

Idk, not if you’re sending a bombshell specifically for someone and that’s someone is the slowest burner who’s made that very clear. Yes 48 hours is enough for some couples on LI but they didn’t even get a normal 48, all they had was a date and used it to decompress from the villas craziness instead of to connect. Yeah it’s on Olandria for not picking Jalen at the end of the day but I just don’t think they had a fair shot at all.

This and olandria had to choose ofc she would’ve still like to get to know him but she wasn’t willing to give up on Taylor at the point of knowing someone for a few days which is exactly why I’m so pissed at Taylor for not doing the same. You’re this deep in. If he was 50/50 like he said, he should’ve chose olandria to see it through and then if it didn’t work out he could reach out to Clarke after the show but it’s stupid to give up on someone you’ve been with for that long
