People don’t understand explanations and excuses. Her trauma is an explanation for how she acts but they’re trying to use it as an excuse for her behavior.

I get what you saying but in her world it’s normalized bc that’s what she grew up watching and she won’t see her wrong or rights unfortunately

That’s the thing that’s an explanation as it what she’s doing however we can’t excuse behavior when it’s been addressed. She may not have been confronted with how she acted previously but she certainly did on the island.
