Exactly, but they don’t understand that Serena’s success on the show didn’t come from the fact that she was a slow-burner. She showed us her actual personality and made the most of her Love Island experience, she talked to almost every bombshell, had actual conversations with her couple, and still explored. We’re not getting that from these islanders.

I still think it’s fine for islanders to not want to get to physical with basically strangers outside challenges. My issue in this season is that these conversations are so dry and their reasoning for a clear lack of chemistry is that “they’re a slow-burner”

I’m not even talking about sex. The fact that Olandria and Taylor JUST kissed outside of a challenge recently after weeks. That’s ridiculous if I’m being honest when it comes to a show like this

And even that showed their lack of chemistry 😭 I’ll be so honest, idk if they even held hands. And anytime they talk it’s just about how they’re both country.

💀 And usually, for me at least, the silly mundane conversations are sometimes the best part of watching a couple grow. But it just gave me the vibes of “we’re two plus ones at a wedding seated next to each other and we’re just talking because we don’t know anyone here”

Agreed the only real conversations we see between the couples are affirmations that they will still be together, other than that the conversations are boring, surface level, and sometimes awkward

Every conversation has been “I think our connection is good” “I agree” “Yeah, but I still want to explore” “Yeah, I’m still open to exploring as well” “Cool, our connection is still really strong” and nothing else 😭
