well she’s from new york, which has a ton of different cultures. there’s different dialects of english, there is no correct way of speaking english. amaya’s is definitely a mix of the dialects she experiences and her dominican background. we’ve seen her speak “normal” and code-switch, so it’s obvious that it is intentional.
