And honestly when he was coupled up with Mel, he was fully giving friendship vibes which is why I think he was being more open because he wasn’t thinking about screwing her. Like I guarantee he’s more open with the boys but they don’t show those conversations because it’s boring and it’s supposed to be love island not friendship island
