I feel like the reason ppl were upset w Chelley was cause she had the whole season to call Huda out and we only saw her get say things in a “debatable” moment, that we still don’t have context to- now the weird haters are just running w it with no plot

That was my biggest issue with her. She was quick to let the stuff Huda would say and do to the other girls go, but only when she was affected it was suddenly a problem.

i seriously wish someone had clocked huda in more of a real way in the beginning bc she’s needed a huge reality check and i agree but even tho chelley should have said smthin sooner i get why she didn’t we have all been there like mad at someone and you say nothing and then eventually one small thing sets you off

YES. That one issue with her shouldnt have constituted all the hate and racism she got, it was ridiculous

Her telling Huda “it’s just a challenge” was basically calling Huda out because she was telling her to relax and cool off of her bad behavior. She listened to her friend’s feelings, validated them and still pointed out bad behavior. It’s not her fault Huda kept behaving that way.

True but I was just saying that she didn’t finally pop off until it had affected her, when I personally think she should’ve popped off way before that and separated herself from Huda. She can’t control Hudas actions but she can control who she surrounds herself with

I mean yea, a lot of people don't fully understand things until they're in that position. Also, her being in that position gave her more of a reason to pop off on huda than her being a spectator and trying to defuse the situation. Like we saw Olandria try to tell Huda to chill tf out in episode 2 and she started crying and people was calling her everything but a child of God so I can only imagine what they'd say about Chelley if she did pop off on Huda.

Lastly, when you’re stuck in a villa and have to sit next to someone every morning, I’m sure you wouldn’t want to have any problems with them like you really have to pick and choose your battles. I’m not trying to ruin my experience by having beef. And her trying to tell her it’s just a challenge should’ve been enough at the end of the day, but Huda was too deep in her relationship to realize that and even weeks later still didn’t understand what Chelley meant

I think ppl will always go against the islanders no matter what, and from what I saw on my feed, Olandria was getting more support than hate and that was when the Huda dislike started for me personally. In my own opinion when I peep someone do weird stuff to others I keep my distance. Yes they’re in a secluded space with a limited amount of space to roam, but for Huda to be considering Chelley her bestie and all that I assume that they were close.

And keeping your distance doesn’t mean “beef” it simply means that you’re protecting your peace. I just think it would’ve helped Chelleys case more if she had gave more distance between her and Huda
