Trinity was cussing her out about it, and she said herself that everyone was telling her to leave him and pick Carl. And peer pressure when the result ended up in you being embarrassed and genuinely falling to your knees?! Absolutely not. It also can’t be peer pressure if everyone was telling her to do the opposite.
melanie was also being told by everyone else in there to pick someone else, and look what she did. peer pressure also doesn’t have to be someone physically telling you do to something. it’s kind of like being at a party and everyone around you is drinking but they keep saying “but you shouldn’t feel like you have to” , one may still feel the pressure to do it because everyone else is… at the end of the day she made her decision based on what SHE knew and SHE felt and was probs extremely hard
And guess what? Melanie dumber bc she knew what sincere was and picked him just to cuss him out😱 it’s also no longer peer pressure if she made the decision based off of her knowledge. Peer pressure if anything would’ve been everyone telling her to not pick KC and to pick Carl, and her doing exactly that.
i don’t think you picked up my point on peer pressure and i’m not going to explain it to you again. it seems like you have no situational awareness to give aniya any grace at all and i’m not saying her choice imo was the right one, but to give no grace or acknowledge that it was still a hard decision for her regardless is very shallow and i’m not going to sit and argue with someone who can’t understand that
I am giving her grace? I never denied that it was a hard decision but yall are legit trying to make every excuse out of the book instead of just admitting that she made the wrong choice. We can give her grace while still acknowledging that she has work to do when it comes to her making decisions for herself instead of for everyone else. I’m not the bad guy here for treating her like an adult instead of a child like yall are doing. Don’t put yourself on such a high pedestal 🥱
