… I’m narrow minded for thinking he likes Aniya… the woman he has been focusing on and consistently interested in. I’m assuming that they had a longer conversation about people being attractive and they spliced it as editors do. The islanders aren’t 100% of the time think about being watched 24/7 and edited. Also accepting the bare minimum??? I’m not defending Sincere, KC, Zach, or Corbin, you know actual misogynistic men but Aniya and Carl’s connection.

There are several couples that have come from this show and have been happy. To disregard that or disregard that some people are only there for fame is stupid (I’m very well aware), but clearly it’s more mixed and nuanced. It’s idiotic to be so black and white especially when Carl hasn’t shown any of the fame seeking and scamming tendencies. If you felt most of the islanders were scamming, you would say that. You singled him out, undermined his attraction to Aniya & Aniya in gen, so I commented.
