she wanted sympathy for her and jeremiah’s situation because “she’s a mother” and it’s hard for her to form connections. and that is why ace is highlighting the problem bc if you a mother you need to be more hyper aware of who you form connections with and bring around your kid. And you need to give yourself the time to explore and look at different people rather than just sit and be married away to one guy that called you pretty.
