Well unless it’s based on the comic where Victor Von Doom and Tony Stark swapped minds, he’s not playing a variant of Tony Stark that became Dr Doom, he’s playing Victor Von Doom

I mean that IS Victor Von Doom. He’s took over as Iron man after Tony died (possible future for the MCU I guess)
