The hand can be a black glove woth stripes of tape. For the arm itself, make it individual stripes of tape with one overlapping the next. Start at the wrist and make sure the end faces inwards so it at least looks good from the side. Use scissors for a cleaner cut. Add black sharpie for details on the hand. You will need a friend for the Star.
