He is in no way a terrible dude, if we’re bein honest, you think Captain America never killed anyone, he literally tossed a dude out of a train for “killing” Bucky

Yeah but the difference is 1. John killed an innocent man and 2. He’s still sexist and that’s like his whole character point in thunderbolts. Hes supposed to be the asshole character that no one is supposed to remotely like. He was a shit father, he stole super serum out of selfishness and greed, he’s an asshole

I also never mentioned captain america you just assumed I didn’t think he killed anybody either. He’s killed a lot he was in the fucking war. John killed a kid for something he fucked up

INNOCENT MAN????? HE WAS A TERRORIST?? The dude literally held down Lamar while Karli tried to stab him, and threw a concrete trashcan at Walker when he was trying to run away… IDK about him being “sexist” in thunderbolts I haven’t seen it yet, but at the end of FATWS he literally gives up on getting revenge to save the truckload of people and do the right thing, how tf was he a shit father?? Cause the baby was RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, and he took the serum so he could get the job done

If you think thats not the case that the serum (as if youre a bad person for wanting to do your job better) then why did Steve agree to get it, Bucky offered it to Sam (as if they just have it) and Sam in the same movie jokingly said “I should’ve taken that damn Serum

He didn’t kill an “innocent” man, he killed the wrong man (who was trying to de-escalate and maybe surrender) in a revenge-fuelled frenzy.

I meant innocent as in not committing the fucking crime he killed him for. His character is made TO BE HATED. Did you watch the thunderbolts and be like “yeah this guy rock!”? Because he was an asshole and a shit father who was meant to be hated. That’s his role

You should watch thunderbolts. It will shut you up immediately. He is a sexist asshole that no one is supposed to like

Also, he took the serum because no one was taking him seriously. It was selfish. Sam said it as a joke but he didn’t fucking mean it? There’s a difference between a joke and an action of selfishness

It doesn’t really matter what secondary crime he committed, he committed the original crime of being a TERRORIST yeah he’s meant to be hated but from the clips i’ve seen, dude is a genuine hero, he jumps in front of Bucky to save him, he has a no nonsense policy when it comes to dealing with threats, he may not be a super hero, but he’s a soldier. And I don’t think it was selfish, he wanted to be better so he could do his job better.

Yeah and he didn’t deserve to be brutally decapitated? I’m not saying that guy deserved a silver spoon and a cock suck but like John is an absolute asshole

I dont think he was decapitated just beat in the face with the shield, john gave the guy justice and as far as im concerned thats the closest Karli came to being held accountable in that entire god awful show

“Just” beat in the face with the shield. He still didn’t deserve that. And tbh It's not the murder itself. It's the fact that he tarnished the symbol of Captain America. The public did not have context or know why he did it. But children around the world had to see the new Captain America publicly execute a man literally begging for mercy.

I know I’m not okay with summary executions of suspects without due process because I’ve seen it enough irl on the news involving brown and black people. That scene, in the most simple and visually graphic way possible, Marvels (successful) attempt to parallel American Police Brutality. To call that scene close to accountability it’s literally absurd.

Fr I’m not saying the group of people who are John defenders are the same group of people who defend “Blue Lives Matter” but I’m also not, NOT, saying that.
