I feel like the only path out of the depression I’m in is to get more extremist, and I don’t want to do so. I think it’s hard though, it seems everyday that nobody around me is alone anymore. Everyone always “gets lucky” and I feel more angry and alone

Why do you think being more extremist would help you feel better?

Are you sure anger gets you out? I feel like that’s still part of depression?

It could be in a sense. But in another sense anger inspired spite evaluates any form of unfairness that was seen towards you, and it allows you to contain that and move forward while always having that reminder in the back of your head to never give into that similarly again Therefore it transforms depression into trauma and you can leave it alone

That doesn’t sound like it helps. Trauma and holding on to things from the past stop you from growing or moving forward

Depression stops you from living. Stopping from moving forward is better, and if there’s a discussion about getting over it, that’s better. But it’s still preferred vs the lack of motivation to do anything

Why do you think moving forward from trauma would be going into depression?
