Hey! DID haver here:3 I would say try to remember the things different alters like and dislike! Also maybe ask your friend if it’s okay to ask who’s fronting! I know I appreciate when my friends see me and use my name and stuff

I met a couple of his alters last night and we had short conversations, which I recounted to him and he appreciated that but I want to know more things I can do like that that would be helpful for him? Obviously I am also just treating him like a normal person and we have a lot of conversations about different things, but this is a realm I am genuinely interested and curious about and I don't want him to feel like he has to hide or be ashamed of it, if that makes sense

Thank you for commenting! Ive already started keeping track of the traits of each alter he tells me about, and I take note of the mannerisms of each when I know someone else has "taken the light" in his words. He has told me I am allowed to confirm who I am speaking with but that some alters may be deceptive (although Ill probably know anyway just because of his body language, vocal pattern, and mannerisms tbh, bcus I very autistically track those in people anyway and so I notice the changes)
