I’ve realized that one of the reasons I feel like everyone hates me is because I am constantly judging myself. How do I stop doing that when I struggle to find things about myself that I actually like? At best I just tolerate things about myself.

I found it helpful to practice liking things about other people. Those often apply to myself too, or at least the practice builds my ability to build up instead of tear down.

That makes some sense. Problem is I get jealous of things I see I like about other people.

Also I feel like I am not good enough often times when talking to others. Like I have something I am always trying to hide because I don’t like it about myself.

Ah! This is just my opinion, but for your first comment makes me think that advice is especially helpful. Because that was my problem too. I used to be really jealous and annoyed at other people for various things before I started practicing that.

There are a few reasons it can help, but one is: when you have a lot of negative noise in your head towards other people, you naturally think that other people have that negative noise in their head towards you. But that’s not necessarily the case. I gradually realize most people don’t feel that way (or at least not the people I care to be liked by)

Well the issue starts with somewhat of a negative view I have toward myself.
