My psychiatrist thinks I might have bpd… honestly I don’t think I have it. But she already gave me meds for it. Should I try to get diagnosed?

No! Do not ever try to get a formal diagnosis! Especially with how the country is now. It is not a diagnosis you want on your record, doctors will treat you a lot differently because it is extremely misunderstood. If they want to get you a diagnosis, even tho it’s not in good practice, try your hardest to make it seem like you have C-PTSD. My doctors refuse to send me to get tested because of how bad that diagnosis is and they did the C-PTSD for me.

The only other two that kinda fit the bill is MDD with disassociative and manic tendencies, then cyclothymic disorder (bipolar 3).

It’s just weird bc it’s very random. The only thing she’s going on is my SH and alleged mood swings that I don’t agree with. She already gave me anti-psychotic medicine. I honestly don’t think that I have it. I think my symptoms are more with my diagnosed autism and depression.
