Wait, I don’t get what the argument’s about. I get she’s probably nervous about how much she’s gonna have to pay, but I can also understand why you’d want to set some kinda boundaries. Are you nervous she wants to treat any extra funds as ‘the family’s money’?

I really don’t have much context at all for this tbh but “stop about boundaries” tells me all I need to know🫠

Or do you want to be the person who coordinates with the school on this stuff. If so you can probably look into revoking access to financial information

But also as a 20 yo it helps to have someone who understands loans and can cosign etc. Try speaking to your school’s financial wellness office

it started when she emailed them this summer to ask about housing and she told them the wrong semester i was applying for, so counselors started emailing me, confused on when i was actually applying for (she told them fall ‘26 when it’s actually spring ‘26). i told her i wanted her to stop communicating with my school because she needs to start letting me adult (she still wants to treat me like a teen in hs or even younger). i placed boundaries bc i want to be able to practice independence even*

if that just means sending my own school emails and figuring out finances, but she refuses to let me be independent.
