Yes I also have a privileged life and have little to no serious troubles but I still live with suicidal ideation as well. For me it’s more of a lack of care towards life in general not just the fact that my life is not worth living but any life at all is not worth living, whether I am a cisgender white man who is a billionaire or a teenage girl in a third world country who is actively trying to survive a genocide. All of it is the same to me.

Depression isn’t always situational. I’ve had an amazing turn of events, landed and started an internship I’m loving rn, and have two amazing cats whom I love more than the world, and yet I still went to sleep last night wishing I wouldn’t wake up

Im the opposite. My parents died when I was 18. I have no money. I have multiple health issues that make it impossible for me to work but doctors cannot find a diagnosis. Im about to lose my apartment because I cannot work from being lightheaded all the time. Honestly I’m about to go to the psych ward because I cannot live like this anymore. I have no one. Im only 23 but I feel like I’m dying.
