Bc venting does work and anyone who says otherwise just doesn't like hearing ppl vent or are emotionally constipated/low EQ

I’ve never heard the phrase “emotionally constipated”, but I love it

Girl I could do a TED Talk on how venting does work These people aren't omniscient gods. They're just people in positions of power Some of them are wildly delusional, and some of them don't even know what they're talking about That fact is being hammered even harder home for me rn as I'm going through this clinical mental health counseling masters program. Oh my god. Bruh.

I feel like venting is only bad if you are doing it wrong. To me, venting is just get everything out so that you can expel that emotional energy and start to let go and move on. It’s when you can’t let go that it can be an issue. If you continue to vent about the same thing over and over and don’t put effort into changing the situation or moving on, then that venting would be unhelpful
