Lately I’ve been really scared about death and how inevitable it is and I get constant and daily anxiety about it to the point where I throw up and I feel like nothing can help except for medication. I don’t think I can talk it out and I hate this feeling

I can’t eat without feeling nauseous I can’t sleep without waking up because I am nauseous and I just get so restless thinking about it. I don’t know what to do I’m not sure what medication to look for or anything and I feel alone and petrified.

You should definitely talk to your dr or psychiatrist about meds, they can help figure out what works best for you. I was in a constant anxiety state last year having anxiety attacks daily with occasional panic attacks (which are very rare for me) and I had to double my lexapro for a while. I will say lexapro has helped take the edge of the anxiety off, but too much makes me feel dull. I only knew to try lexapro bc my brother is on it and had good results.

I tried Zoloft first and it did get me through a few years, but it never fully worked and honestly made some of my depression worse. I have not had good luck with as needed anxiety meds, but my anxiety and depression are so intertwined that both need to be treated or neither will subside

I also had the waking up nauseous and throwing up issue, but that ended up being a functional issue with my stomach irritated by anxiety. I used Dramamine and ginger gum to help with the nausea and the smelling peppermint or peppermint oil can also help with the nausea (I kept some oil on my nightstand). It won’t fix the anxiety that’s causing the nausea but it might make it more bearable for you

Omg yessssss. My anxiety is heavily intertwined with my stomach issues. My anxiety has greatly affected my every day lifestyle but it wasn’t always like this but it has gotten so much worse. If I get even a little bit of a worry, it triggers my anxiety and I feel EXTREMELY nauseous and it’s genuinely humiliating when I don’t feel good and I have to sit out on things because feeling nauseous makes me have more anxiety and get more nauseous and it’s just too much
