Unattractive, weird, secondary, the one laughed at/joked about.

Ahh. Look, ik we live in a society that's very hyperfixated on physical appearances, but as long as you aren't the maga conservative stereotype of the hateful incel stereotype, and you're just what you described, there is PLENTY of hope for you Especially since you're a guy, and it's much easier to get girls to at least genuinely like you as a person and befriend tf out of you even if your fellow men are assholes You can work on your appearance, while REALLY buffing your personality/EQ/intellect

Bc. Since ppl only seem to be focusing on physical appearances, we're kinda living in a 0 personality economy. People are STARVED for deep, different, unique, quirky, etc individuals. It's actually never been easier to be mid af with a very strong personality I'm telling you as a person in their mid/late twenties. Soul/personality matters way more than physical appearances in adult world rn.

for what little it’s worth, I think he seems lovable. I feel you though, people treat you in ways that make it nearly impossible to have any confidence and then they say things like “it’s just the insecurity that’s holding you back!” as if that were a personal fault, not something you learned to internalize from being looked down on by peers

I needed this. Thank you for writing this out. I had quite an experience challenging me and my worldview but reading this helped me pull through. Thank you

It is definitely internalized. It’s not easy, it happens in waves but I’m trying to be a little better holding my ground and staying true to myself even if it’s a little uncomfortable
