psychiatrist diagnosed me with CPTSD but i have a nagging feelings it’s BPD instead. how would one even bring this up?

They’re trying to help. As soon as BPD is on your chart, therapists, psychiatrists, doctors, they all treat you differently. And even a brain scan between a person with BPD and CPTSD cannot be distinguished between one another. Be cautious.

i have both. bpd comes from trauma, so it’s not uncommon for ptsd to be diagnosed alongside it. i had to bring up bpd to my doctor. i did tons of research and documented symptoms and incidents in my life that were important

op, don’t be afraid to be “treated differently “. yes, there are doctors/therapists that will not deal with bpd, but there is hope. therapists that specialize in DBT are good
